The new BMB booster units have gone into production and the first units placed at Tiong Lian Foods Pte Ltd in Singapore following the successful FHA Exhibition launch.
The BMB units are a Hydroxyl generator without the inbuilt fan, and are intended to be used in cooling rooms and chillers and other such areas where there is plenty of air flow already present eg: cooling fans. The idea is to cut down the investment cost of installing Baxx for customers requiring a large number of units to service a big area. Instead of several 800-S fan units being installed, only a minimum number is required to be sending hydroxyls into the room when the room’s own fans are idle. Then the BMB Booster units will make up the final concentration in the room when all fans are operating which tends to be about 70 - 90% of the time in a typical chiller room.
The BMB Booster units have increased hydroxyl output over the 800-S model as its full length is devoted to emitting hydroxyls, whereby the inbuilt fan units have a slightly lesser output due to room being required for the motor and electronics.
With the BMB Booster units being smaller and not having the motor and fan, they offer considerable savings along with the fan driven 800-S model as well.
The BMB Booster can also be viewed as a suitable unit for fitting into mass air-conditioning systems where the a/cons fans are moving the air over the BMB units and delivering treated air into the rooms served by the ducted a/con systems. Office buildings, hospitals, kindergartens, plants, laboratories and even malls and supermarkets could all benefit from the introduction of the new BMB model.
